Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN required).
• Current licensure as a registered nurse. Coding certification through AAPC or AHIMA.
• Experience with healthcare denial processes and revenue cycle.
• Experience with EMR systems and electronic databases; proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Utilize evidence-based utilization review criteria to determine audit viability.
• Assess appeal requests by examining payer policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders during audits.
• Identify and communicate root causes for denials with care teams.
• Serve as SME for hospital charging, documentation, and clinical standards.
• Support policy development, training, and education to reduce denials.
• Maintain knowledge of projects and regulatory information; complete CEU requirements.
