CorVel Corporation in the Northern New Jersey area is seeking a caring, self-motivated RN to join as Medical Case Manager. This role blends in-person and telephonic case management with local travel up to 60% to support injured workers and their families.

You will collaborate with physicians, families, and employers to plan and evaluate treatment, coordinate durable medical equipment, and manage costs while providing compassionate, independent service during regular business hours.

Qualificações

• Current RN licensure in New Jersey is required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• CCM/CIRS certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel locally up to 60%.
• Experience in case management is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide in-person and telephonic medical case management with patient, physician, providers, employer and referral source.
• Discuss treatment plans with physicians and consider alternatives.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient progress.
• Evaluate treatment plans for medical necessity and cost effectiveness.
• Attend doctors, providers, and attorney visits as needed.
• Coordinate discharge planning and long-term care strategies.
• Conduct initial home visits and arrange durable medical equipment and nursing services.
• Regular local travel up to ~60% and possible overnight travel.
• Additional duties as required.
