Job summary

CorVel Corporation is seeking a registered nurse for a Medical Case Manager role in Northern New Jersey. The position involves work-from-home and travel with a caseload of workers' compensation cases.

You will coordinate care with physicians, patients, and families across local settings, ensuring effective treatment plans within a defined jurisdiction. The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to travel up to 60% of the time; CCM certification is preferred

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of operation.
• Experience as an RN Medical Case Manager preferred.
• CCM or other Case Management certification preferred.
• Ability to travel locally to assigned locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and telephonic Medical Case Management to workers with injuries.
• Discuss treatment plans with physicians and discuss alternatives.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient progress and care goals.
• Coordinate with providers, employers, and families to support recovery.
• Travel to patient sites for home visits and care coordination.
