Job summary

CVS Health is expanding its healthcare operations with a remote RN Case Manager role, supporting members across multiple states from home with virtual training. In this full-time position, you will conduct telephonic case management for fully and/or self-insured clients, applying clinical guidelines, building care plans, and collaborating with care teams to ensure appropriate benefits and outcomes.

Required qualifications include 5+ years as an RN, an active NLC license, and oncology experience.

Qualifications

• RN with 5+ years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in a hospital setting.
• Must hold an active multistate license via the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) to practice in participating states.
• Experience documenting electronically using a keyboard.
• Experience in Oncology is required.

Responsibilities

• Work as a telephonic case manager with patients and their care team.
• Apply clinical guidelines and policies to assess benefits and member needs.
• Develop care plans to reduce risk factors and address barriers.
• Conduct holistic assessments addressing co-morbidities and functional status.
• Escalate cases and collaborate with clinical colleagues to resolve issues.
• Perform medical necessity reviews.
