Job summary

Cor Vel Corporation seeks a Telephonic Case Manager to coordinate resources and develop cost-effective, personalized care plans for ill or injured individuals. This remote role requires an active California RN license and 3+ years of clinical experience, preferably in rehabilitation.

You will assess treatment plans, communicate with physicians, and prepare routine reports while maintaining a 95% productivity standard per month.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; BSN preferred
• Current RN license in state of operation
• 3+ years clinical experience, preferably in rehabilitation
• URAC case management certification to be obtained within 3 years if none
• Strong cost containment background such as utilization review is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide medical case management through coordination with the patient, the physician, other health care providers, the employer, and the referral source
• Provide assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient’s progress
• Evaluate patient’s treatment plan for appropriateness, medical necessity, and cost effectiveness
• Utilize medical knowledge to discuss current or alternative treatment plans with the physician
• Prepare organized reports within specified timeframes
• Maintain a minimum productivity standard of 95% per month
