CorVel Corporation in the United States is seeking a Telephonic Case Manager to coordinate resources and develop cost‑effective, personalized care plans for ill or injured individuals while supporting timely return to work.

The role uses clinical expertise to assess treatment appropriateness, communicate with treating physicians, and explain plans to patients, families, and adjusters. It is a remote position with strong emphasis on documentation and productivity.

Qualifications

• OhnRN licensure required in operating state.
• 3+ years of clinical experience, preferably rehabilitation.
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• URAC recognized Case Management certification must be obtained within 3 years if not present at hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical case management with patient, physician, other providers, employer, and referral source.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient progress.
• Evaluate treatment plans for medical necessity and cost effectiveness.
• Discuss current/alternative treatment plans with physician.
• Prepare organized reports within specified timeframes.
• Meet minimum productivity standard of 95% per month.
• Provide cost-effective strategies for medical care.
• Remote role requires clear, timely communications with all parties.
