Job summary

Headway is hiring a Team Lead, Business Recruiting to lead a team of 6–7 recruiters supporting our revenue functions, including Provider Sales and Care Partnerships. Hiring ranges from high-volume sales roles to consultative, partnership-focused roles. This is a player-coach role with ownership of hiring plans, forecasting, funnel performance, and daily operations for the team.

This role is remote-flexible, with a preference for candidates based in New York City or Philadelphia.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including sales/go-to-market hires.
• Experience managing recruiters and setting goals with direct feedback.
• Comfort with recruiting data, funnel math, and metrics-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 6–7 recruiters for high-volume and consultative hiring.
• Build hiring plans from business targets, forecast capacity and track weekly progress.
• Coach team with data, improve efficiency, and partner with revenue stakeholders.
• Adjust recruiting strategies by role and identify bottlenecks for faster hiring.
• Oversee daily operations, including req loads and interview calibration.
