Job summary

RE Tech Advisors is seeking a Director of Performance Engineering & Commissioning to lead new service lines focused on performance engineering, commissioning, and decarbonization for CRE, with hybrid work in the US.

The role mentors talent, shapes technical strategy, and partners with Growth and Solutions leadership to drive revenue growth while aligning with client needs and market demand.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive MEP engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience working with institutional investors or operating platforms.
• Experience in advisory capacity and influencing decisions.
• Experience supporting business development and client engagements.
• Experience leading complex technical work and cross-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and validate market-ready performance engineering and decarbonization services.
• Provide senior technical oversight during pilots and early engagements.
• Translate capabilities into commercially viable offerings.
• Partner with Growth, Account Management, and Solutions leadership to align offerings with market needs.
• Support client conversations, renewals, and sales through technical credibility.
• Develop delivery standards, documentation, and scalability plans.
