Job summary

Providence is seeking a Revenue Integrity Coding Educator to advance accurate, compliant, and optimized coding across specialties by auditing documentation and coded services, translating CPT/ICD-10-CM/HCPCS requirements into practical education, and coaching teams.

This fully remote role partners with clinical and Revenue Cycle leaders to implement corrective actions, develop training materials, and monitor outcomes to strengthen coding quality and reimbursement accuracy.

Qualifications

• National certification required upon hire (AAPC/AHIMA variants)
• 5 years experience in medical insurance reimbursement and coding related to charge review and RVUs
• Experience reviewing patient accounts, explanations of benefits, and financial records

Responsibilities

• Audit medical records and coded services to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Develop and deliver training materials on CPT/ICD-10-CM/HCPCS requirements
• Provide coaching to providers, coders, and operations teams
• Identify documentation, denial, and workflow trends and implement corrective actions
• Monitor outcomes to strengthen coding quality and reimbursement accuracy
