Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus six years of healthcare coding experience with ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS.
• Two years of professional practice medical coding auditing or outpatient coding auditing experience.
• Alternative: Associate's degree with eight years of relevant coding experience.
• Alternative: High School Diploma with ten years of coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement education curricula for coding initiatives and training.
• Lead audits and quality reviews of coding and documentation.
• Review CMS changes and communicate impact to RI and HIM teams.
• Oversee projects to improve clinical documentation and final coding quality.
