Job summary

Parallon, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Revenue Integrity Charge Review Analyst to identify variations in daily charges across hospital departments and monitor revenue integrity.

You will collaborate with facility departments, review charging and documentation, and present recommendations to leadership to improve accuracy and compliance.

This role requires knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding and Meditech Expanse, with up to 60% travel and remote work within 60 miles of an HCA hospital.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or above; or healthcare license/certification required.
• Minimum 1 year directly related Healthcare experience or coding experience required.
• Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS codes or experience in charging or performing charging validation reviews preferred.
• Healthcare certification/licensure such as RHIT, CCS, CCP, CPC or other AHIMA credentials can be accepted in lieu of degree with work experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews of charging, coding, and clinical documentation, collaborating with Revenue Integrity Leadership during system implementations.
• Maintain communication with Facility Departments during implementations to address charging issues and keep CFO updated.
• Perform charge audits by verifying billing data against documentation and suggest improvements to leadership.
• Collaborate with Department Directors to develop chargemaster and charging practices for new services and post-implementation reviews.
