Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 5 years in a professional billing environment with emphasis on coding, auditing and compliance responsibilities.
• Licenses and Certifications: CPC, CCS, CMC Upon Hire; CCPMA Upon Hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct presentations on coding, billing and compliance topics.
• Conduct standardized onboarding education for new providers across multiple service lines.
• Perform post-onboarding pre-bill review of professional charges and ensure understanding of documentation requirements.
• Conduct documentation and billing compliance reviews and summarize audit outcomes.
• Research coding, documentation and reimbursement policy questions to ensure compliance.
• Assist with training for contractor staff on audit software and EPIC; handle ad hoc audits.
