Job summary

Proliance Surgeons seeks a remote Revenue Cycle Specialist Assistant to support the billing lifecycle. Responsibilities include claim review, coding accuracy checks, processing multi-level claims, posting payments, and credit resolution. The role requires independence and strong customer service in a remote setting.

Applicants must reside in WA, FL, NC, AZ, ID, OH, OR, TN, TX, or RI and be available Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm PST. Prior orthopedic coding exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years medical billing experience required.
• CPC or equivalent certification preferred.
• Orthopedic coding experience a plus.
• Experience with NextGen and Amkai Billing Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify information for claims prior to billing.
• Review surgical coding for accuracy before billing.
• Process primary, secondary, and tertiary claims and address edits/rejections.
• Post patient payments and insurance/third-party payments.
• Perform credit resolution for both insurance and self-pay credits.
• Manage Insurance AR and Patient AR.
• Handle bad debt and supporting duties as directed.
