Job summary

SGA Dental Partners is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst to support reporting, analytics, and data integrity across the revenue cycle function. You will partner with Revenue Cycle leadership and the Business Intelligence team to ensure accurate, actionable reporting across PMS and BI systems.

You will extract data from practice management systems such as Denticon, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and Open Dental, validate outputs, and help develop standardized KPIs and dashboards to enable data-driven

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data analysis, reporting, revenue cycle operations, or related healthcare analytics roles.
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle workflows and KPIs preferred.
• Experience with practice management systems (Denticon, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation).
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to translate data into insights.

Responsibilities

• Extracts and compiles data from practice management systems to support reporting needs.
• Pulls ad hoc and recurring reports to support Revenue Cycle leadership, Finance, and Operations.
• Partners with leadership to define reporting needs, KPIs, and methodologies.
• Supports design, development, and refinement of dashboards and reporting outputs.
• Validates Power BI reports against source data to ensure accuracy.
• Identifies data discrepancies and coordinates across teams to resolve issues.
• Supports standardization of KPI definitions and reporting methodologies.
• Maintains documentation for reporting logic, data sources, and metrics.
• Monitors data quality and integrity across systems; escalates issues when needed.
• Analyzes revenue cycle performance trends (AR aging, collections, posting timing).
• Prepares data for leadership presentations and operational reviews.
• Coordinates with IT on data-related initiatives and reporting enhancements.
