Job summary

SGA Dental Partners is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst to support reporting, analytics, and data integrity across the revenue cycle function. This role partners with Revenue Cycle leadership and the Business Intelligence team to ensure accurate, actionable reporting from PMS and other systems.

The position involves extracting data from practice management systems (PMS) like Denticon, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and Open Dental, validating outputs, and helping standardize KPI definitions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, revenue cycle operations, or related healthcare/dental analytics roles.
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle workflows and key performance metrics preferred.
• Experience with PMS such as Denticon, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and/or Open Dental preferred.
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation) required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Extracts and compiles data from PMS to support reporting needs.
• Pulls ad hoc and recurring reports to support leadership, Finance, and Operations.
• Defines reporting needs, KPI requirements, and performance tracking methodologies.
• Collaborates with Power BI/analytics teams to design dashboards and outputs.
• Validates reports against source data to ensure accuracy.
• Identifies data gaps and proposes enhancements for KPI definitions and reporting.
