Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a Revenue Cycle Analyst to monitor revenue performance, study trends, and mitigate leakage using Epic navigation and analytics.

This fully remote role requires presenting findings to leadership up to the C-suite, leading committees, and driving process improvements with care sites. The position emphasizes collaboration, policy adherence, and a commitment to the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

• Three years of work experience in medical claims and follow-up.
• Preferred HFMA certification.
• Epic systems experience preferred.
• Five+ years of medical billing/claims follow up (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in revenue cycle analytics to mitigate leakage.
• Lead denial prevention initiatives ensuring policy/regulatory alignment.
• Drive revenue-maximization projects with leadership and care sites.
• Participate in process re-engineering and committees to improve efficiency.
• Identify system/process improvements to maximize revenue streams.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement action plans.
• Provide recommendations to RSC Management on efficiency.
• Meet or exceed department standards and goals.
