Job summary

Qualifications

• HS, GED or bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 2+ years' experience within Revenue Cycle Management preferred.
• Familiarity with ICD-10 coding and billing processes.

Responsibilities

• Submit medical documentation and billing data to insurance providers.
• Research and appeal denied and rejected claims.
• Prepare, review, and transmit claims using billing software (electronic and paper).
• Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle.
• Call insurance companies regarding discrepancies in payment.
• Review insurance payments for accuracy and completeness.
