Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a full-time Revenue Cycle Management professional to support invoice processing and claims handling. The role focuses on submitting billing data, appealing denied claims, and transmitting claims using billing software.

You will follow up on unpaid accounts and address payment discrepancies with insurance providers. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in RCM, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with ICD-10 coding.

Qualifications

• HS, GED, or bachelor’s degree in business-related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of Revenue Cycle Management experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within team environment
• Able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Familiarity with ICD-10 coding and medical terminology
• Experience with billing software including electronic and paper claim processing
• Prior EdgePark and/or Cardinal Health at Home Customer Operations preferred

Responsibilities

• Submitting medical documentation and billing data to insurance providers
• Researching and appealing denied or rejected claims
• Preparing, reviewing, and transmitting claims using billing software
• Following up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle
• Calling insurance companies regarding discrepancies in payment
• Reviewing insurance payments for accuracy and completeness
