Cardinal Health is seeking a Revenue Cycle Management professional in Lincoln, NE to handle end-to-end billing tasks, claim submissions, and denial management. The role supports the healthcare revenue cycle from scheduling through collection, with a focus on accuracy and timely reimbursement.

The position requires 2+ years in RCM, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team, adhering to tight deadlines and ICD-10 knowledge.

Qualifications

• HS, GED, or bachelor's in business preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years' experience in Revenue Cycle Management preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within team environment.
• Able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with ICD-10 coding.
• Competent with computer systems, software and 10 key calculators.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Prior EdgePark and/or Cardinal Health at Home Customer Operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Submitting medical documentation/billing data to insurance providers.
• Researching and appealing denied and rejected claims.
• Preparing, reviewing, and transmitting claims using billing software including electronic and paper claim processing.
• Following up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle time frame.
• Calling insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payment if necessary.
• Reviewing insurance payments for accuracy and completeness.
