Job summary

Backblaze is seeking a Senior Revenue Analytics Lead to build and scale post-sales and revenue intelligence capabilities. The role unifies product telemetry, customer success signals, and revenue data into a single analytics layer to influence renewals and growth.

You’ll architect and operationalize systems that impact revenue, build models for forecasting usage and revenue, and design centralized metrics and SQL logic.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of data modeling, reporting, and analysis with business partners
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau or Power BI
• Strong data modeling skills in SQL are essential
• Experience with modern data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
• Understanding SaaS metrics including ARR, MRR, NRR, GRR, renewal forecasting

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a scalable data model integrating product usage, customer success signals, and revenue data
• Align and normalize data across Salesforce, product systems, and support tools
• Build clean, reusable datasets for analytics and BI
• Define and standardize core SaaS metrics (NRR, GRR, expansion, churn, renewals)
• Partner with CS, Revenue Ops, Sales and Finance to drive revenue insights
• Forecast usage and revenue growth, predict expansion likelihood, identify churn risk
• Design dashboards in Tableau linking usage to revenue outcomes and renewal pipeline
