Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company is seeking an Internal Retirement Specialist to provide retirement plan expertise to participants and act as a consultant for education and advice tailored to individual needs.

The role requires FINRA Series 6, 63 and 65 licenses, plus Life and Health licenses, and favors bilingual candidates. The position is remote nationwide with responsibilities including education, deferrals optimization, and strategic relationship building.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of insurance and financial products.
• Defined contribution plans preferred.
• Minimum of two years in a relationship/sales driven role.
• Experience in a sales call center environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives inbound calls from participants and provides education and guidance regarding their retirement plan.
• Initiates calls to targeted participants to discuss deferrals and retirement goals.
• Performs account reviews and advises on asset allocation options.
• Calculates retirement projections and provides counseling on results.
• Builds relationships with field Retirement Specialists and Program Directors to support sales goals.
