Job summary

Nationwide Financial is seeking an Internal Retirement Specialist to provide retirement plan expertise to participants and act as a consultant for education and advice based on individual needs.

Reach out to participants via education, discuss deferrals, perform account reviews, and provide projections while partnering with field Retirement Specialists and Program Directors in the assigned territory(s).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.
• FINRA Series 6, 63 and 65 licenses and Life/Health licenses required.
• Minimum of two years in a relationship/sales driven role.
• Knowledge of insurance and financial products; defined contribution plans preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and educate participants about their retirement plan.
• Encourage deferrals and discuss contribution levels.
• Perform account reviews and advise on asset allocation.
• Provide retirement projections and guidance on distributions/transfers.
• Build relationships with field Retirement Specialists and Program Directors.
• Consult with territory leaders on plan advice.
• Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes.
