Job summary

Transamerica is seeking a dedicated Retirement Education Specialist to deliver on-site and remote retirement planning education for a major client. You will conduct group and one-on-one meetings, guiding participants toward funded retirement goals while leveraging Transamerica products.

The role requires FINRA licenses (6/7, 63 or to obtain within 6 months) and a 3+ year background in financial services. Occasional local travel is expected, with a salary range of $66,000–$80,000 plus annual

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience required.
• FINRA Series 6/7 and Series 63 licenses required or to be obtained within 6 months.
• RPA/CRPC or CFP/ChFC/CEBS/CRPS or higher acceptable in lieu of RPA/CRPC.
• Minimum three years of financial services or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to promote participant action toward retirement funding.
• Manage client relationships with HR, management, and participants.
• Conduct group education meetings, workshops, webinars, and enrollment meetings.
• Conduct one-on-one retirement planning meetings.
• Advise using Transamerica products and services to meet retirement objectives.
• Explain funds and performance of client plan options.
• Identify asset retention needs and discuss funding solutions as an IAR or referral to the Advice Center.
• Collaborate with other product specialists for multi-product needs.
• Maintain records documenting progress toward goals.
• Provide ongoing support to participants who leave employers while keeping assets in plan.
• Meet regularly with internal partners and contributing to program projects.
