Job summary

Transamerica is seeking a Retirement Education and Planning Advisor to provide dedicated on-site education and advisory services for a major client across multiple locations. You will conduct group meetings, deliver retirement workshops, and guide participants toward a funded retirement plan.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, FINRA licenses, and 3 years in financial services; CFP/CRPC or RPA preferred. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent business experience.
• FINRA Series 6/7 and Series 63 licenses required or to be obtained within six months.
• RPA/CRPC certification or higher (CFP/ChFC/CRPS) acceptable in lieu of RPA/CRPC.
• Three years of financial services or related experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to meet targets.
• Excellent organization and time-management abilities.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems/technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to promote participant action toward retirement goals.
• Develop and manage client relationships with HR, management, and participants.
• Conduct group education meetings, workshops, webinars, and enrollment meetings.
• Conduct one-on-one retirement planning meetings with client employees.
• Utilize Transamerica products to help clients meet retirement objectives.
• Explain fund objectives and performance of client plans.
