Job summary

Transamerica seeks a retirement education and planning specialist to provide on-site support and advisory services for a major client at one or more locations. You will deliver group and one-on-one retirement meetings, promote Transamerica products, and help participants reach retirement objectives.

You will build relationships with HR, management and employees, conduct workshops and enrollment meetings, and stay current with funds and plan options while aligning with fiduciary practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent business experience.
• FINRA Series 6 or 7.
• FINRA Series 63 or obtain within six months.
• RPA or CRPC, or obtain within 12 months.
• CFP or equivalent certifications acceptable in lieu of RPA/CRPC.
• Three years of financial services or related experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Presentation skills to support the sales process.
• Self-motivated to drive toward targets.
• Organization and time-management skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems/technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage client relationships from an educational perspective.
• Conduct group education meetings and enrollment meetings.
• Use company products to help clients meet retirement objectives.
• Explain fund objectives and performance to participants.
• Retain assets and guide rollovers to IRAs under fiduciary rules.
• Maintain records documenting progress toward goals.
• Enroll participants into Managed Advice and provide ongoing planning support.
• Collaborate with internal partners and participate in program expansion projects.
