Guidant Financial is hiring a Retirement Plan Operations Specialist to work remotely across select US states. You will learn and perform the end-to-end process of administering, testing, and reporting on 401(k) plans, progressing from document review to basic plan administration.

You will review client submissions, provide updates, and help clients understand year-end reporting requirements, including Form 5500. Training, growth, and supportive leadership are emphasized in Guidant's ESOP journey.

Formación

• 1 to 5 years of adjacent back-office financial operations experience
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience in retirement-plan operations preferred
• Basic knowledge of 401(k) plan structure and IRS/DOL regulations preferred

Responsabilidades

• Work with clients to obtain necessary information to prepare the annual reporting
• Review documents submitted by clients for completeness and accuracy
• Reconcile plans with rollovers and plan stock using Excel and administration software
• Utilize administration software to complete 401(k) testing and reporting
• Make outgoing reminder calls and emails to clients during plan year reporting
• Prepare 401(k) plan government filings, including IRS Form 5500
• Educate clients regarding retirement plan administration
