Job summary

Turner & Townsend PJM US LLC is seeking a Project Manager to provide consulting services for retail store fit-outs and renovations from planning to closeout. This remote role includes 20%–30% travel mainly across Eastern and Central Time Zones.

You will manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and risk, interfacing with architects, GC’s, and clients. Strong PM, LEED/PMP/CCM credentials, and experience in retail construction are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
• Experience with retail client accounts managing fit-out and renovation construction is preferred.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and technical construction documents
• Knowledge of lease agreements and vendor management is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Smartsheet. Experience with Tango or similar project management software required. Corrigo or other facilities management software is desirable.
• Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.

Responsibilities

• Manage all areas of project management for commercial real estate projects.
• Interface directly with Architects and General Contractors, define scope, and manage RFPs and RFIs.
• Interface directly with clients to prepare all project elements, including the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & landmarks, quality control, and risk identification.
• Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process.
• Conduct a standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
• Implement project documentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements.
• Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
• Build action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule.
• Track the progress of each project and report status and variances.
• Demonstrate ability to identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Mentor others and share knowledge of your job subject area.
