Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Account Executive/Sales Director – Retail & Consumer Goods to drive growth across the Retail & Consumer Goods industry vertical. The role focuses on acquiring new logos, expanding existing accounts, and leading multi-service deals, including AD&M, IT Outsourcing, BPO, and consulting services.

You will partner with client executives and cross functional teams to deliver differentiated value, build robust pipelines, and achieve annual bookings and quota targets in a remote

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in onshore/offshore sales within consulting/tech/services
• Proven success closing multi-service deals from $5M to $50M+
• Strong hunting background with new logo acquisition in Retail/CPG

Responsibilities

• Drive hunting and new logo acquisition across Retail & CPG accounts.
• Lead end-to-end sales pursuits: qualification, solution development, proposals, negotiations and closure.
• Establish trusted relationships with C-level executives and position Cognizant’s services.
• Create territory/account plans to maximize market coverage and cross-sell opportunities.
• Collaborate with delivery teams and marketing to maintain pipeline accuracy and CRM hygiene.
• Demonstrate Cognizant’s leadership principles and drive client value.
