Job summary

Marks, part of the Propelis Group, is seeking a proactive Resource Manager to support a CGI-driven production studio. This full-time, fixed-term contract (14 months) role is remote in the US, with a global team of CGI artists, retouchers, editors and animators.

You will partner with Producers, PMs and discipline leads to cast talent and schedule resources. Responsibilities include developing and implementing weekly resource planning, centralising requests, forecasting, onboarding freelance

Qualifications

• Experience in a CGI-led studio environment is required.
• Excellent knowledge of cloud-based tools used for production planning (Excel, Keynote, Outlook, Mac, Flow, Crew Planning and Workfront).
• Proven ability to forecast, allocate and manage resources across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Support development & implementation of weekly resource planning processes across a global team.
• Centralise, forecast, organise and allocate all resource requests from the production team.
• Identify skills, maximise availability and utilisation for the in-house CGI artists, retouchers, finishing artists, photographers, video editors and animators
• Pencil all studio resource requests from producers, as far in advance as possible
• Confirm all studio resource bookings with discipline leads, weekly in advance
• Work with the Resource Manager to proactively identify risks before they impact delivery.
• Forecast, source, onboard and book freelance resources when necessary to meet fluctuating demand.
