Propelis is seeking a proactive Resource Manager to join its global CGI-led production studio. You will oversee weekly resource planning, centralise requests, and allocate talent across CGI artists, retouchers, editors and animators.

The role requires independent work, strong interpersonal skills, and collaboration with producers and discipline leads. You will forecast demand, identify risks early, and arrange freelance resources to meet fluctuating workload while maintaining high-quality

An empathetic problem solver with brilliant interpersonal skills, used to working efficiently and autonomously in a multi-discipline production studio. A trusted partner for producers, project managers and discipline leads who takes pride in casting the right talent for each request, not just filling gaps in a spreadsheet. A networked team player who understands the nuanced individual talents and capabilities of every creative, CGI artist, retoucher, video editor and animator on the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support development & implementation of weekly resource planning processes across a global team.
• Centralise, forecast, organise and allocate all resource requests from the production team.
• Identify skills, maximise availability and utilisation for the in-house team of CGI artists, retouchers, finishing artists, photographers, video editors and animators
• Pencil all studio resource requests from producers, as far in advance as possible
• Confirm all studio resource bookings with discipline leads, weekly in advance
• Work with the Resource Manager to proactively identify risks before they impact delivery.
• Forecast, source, onboard and book freelance resources when necessary to meet fluctuating demand.

Skills and Abilities

• Experience in a CGI-led studio environment
• Excellent knowledge of cloud-based tools like Excel, Keynote, Outlook, Mac, Flow, Crew Planning and Workfront
• Resource reporting - provide accurate, timely and relevant data to the business and studio leadership team to enable decision‑making.
• Resource monitoring - timesheets, holidays, absences etc. working with existing Marks platforms
• Freelance networking - managing and maintaining strong freelance relationships and 'black book'
• Relationship management - building, managing and maintaining close working relationships with CGI artists, retouchers, finishing artists, photographers, video editors and animators
• Problem solving - prioritising resource conflicts and escalating proposed solutions

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This is a remote position in the US. We are open to candidates in various states, with the exception of those residing in the following: AK, DC, DE, ME, NH, NM, OK, HI, MS, MT, NV, NE, ND, SD, VT, WY, and WV.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $70 - $75 USD hourly. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
