Job summary

fusionSpan is seeking a Junior Resource Manager to support the global delivery team across Salesforce implementations and Managed Services engagements. You will ensure accuracy of resource data, maintain skills inventories, and generate utilization reports for senior leadership.

The role is remote, working with US-based team members on the US shift, and involves coordinating with Sales, PMO, and Delivery to optimize staffing and project success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in resource management, workforce planning, or staffing in a professional services, consulting, or SI environment.
• Experience matching consultants to projects based on skills, availability, and engagement needs.
• Knowledge of PSA metrics: utilization, billable vs non-billable time, project margins, forecasting, and pipeline.
• Hands-on experience with PSA tools such as Certinia/FinancialForce, Kantata, OpenAir, Mavenlink, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate, forward-looking view of team capacity and demand in Salesforce by creating and maintaining resource requests for upcoming opportunities.
• Surface bench risk, over-allocation, and skill gaps to senior resource managers before delivery issues arise.
• Monitor staffing requests and queues, ensuring necessary details (skills, timeline, budget) are captured before escalation.
• Prepare for weekly resource planning meetings and publish the current allocation picture.
• Monitor master schedule to identify and flag over-allocations, double-bookings, or bench time to senior team members.
• Regularly update resource profiles, skills inventories, availability trackers, and project assignments.
