Job summary

Fivetran seeks an experienced Resident Solution Architect to join the Professional Services team. This role focuses on solving complex data problems with dbt, delivering architecture guidance, and ensuring successful deployment for enterprise customers.

Ideal candidates have deep dbt experience, strong SQL and Python skills, and a track record of post-sales technical delivery across diverse data platforms. This is a remote-friendly yet United States-based opportunity with travel expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise customers in a post-sales, technical architect, or consulting role.
• Strong SQL and data platform knowledge across Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift.
• 2+ years of dbt experience, including work with dbt platform.
• Comfort writing Python and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of customer technical projects from implementation to MVPs and long-term solutions.
• Consult on architecture and design to ensure best practices.
• Drive adoption of dbt platform among strategic customers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solution Architects, Training and Support teams.
• Provide feedback to products and engineering to prioritize customer requests.
• Become a product expert with dbt in the modern data stack.
