Job summary

MUSC is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator to support the UNDERSTAND study, a remotely delivered behavioral trial to reduce stress in caregivers of people with mild cognitive impairment or early-stage dementia.

Under the PI, you will manage recruitment, consent, REDCap activities, regulatory work, and data quality, collaborating with investigators, partners, and MUSC offices to ensure smooth study operation.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree and three years of relevant program experience.
• Experience coordinating NIH-funded clinical, behavioral, or community-based research.
• Experience with longitudinal or remotely delivered intervention studies.
• Experience working with caregivers, older adults, or dementia-related research.
• Experience with regulatory submissions, sIRB/reliance, adverse-event tracking, and protocol deviations.
• Experience developing SOPs, workflows, checklists, and training materials.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and independent project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment, screening, consent, and enrollment coordination with partners.
• Coordinate baseline, intervention, follow-up activities, and retention support.
• Maintain regulatory and study documentation and deadlines.
• Coordinate REDCap instruments, data quality, and reporting.
• Coordinate sIRB/reliance documentation and collaboration with centers.
