Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) College of Nursing is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations for the NIH-funded UNDERSTAND study, a remotely delivered intervention for caregivers of individuals with mild cognitive impairment or early-stage dementia.

Under the PI, you will oversee recruitment, consent, retention, regulatory tasks, REDCap data work, and safety monitoring.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required with at least three years of relevant program experience.
Experience coordinating NIH-funded clinical/behavioral or community research.
Experience with longitudinal or remotely delivered interventions.
Experience with caregivers, older adults, or dementia-related research.
Experience with REDCap, including e-consent, surveys, data quality, and reporting.
Experience with regulatory submissions, sIRB/reliance, adverse events, and protocol deviations.
Experience developing SOPs, workflows, checklists, and training materials.

Responsibilities

Recruitment, screening, consent, and enrollment coordination with partners.
Coordinate participant operations, baseline/intervention/follow-up activities and retention support.
Maintain regulatory and study documentation; manage deadlines and reporting.
Coordinate REDCap instruments/workflows and data quality reviews.
Document adverse events, protocol deviations, and safety concerns; ensure audit-ready records.
