Job summary

The University of South Carolina is seeking a Program Coordinator I to support a NIH-funded telehealth study focused on improving management of chronic health conditions among underserved adults and their care partners in South Carolina.

You will work with a licensed research nurse and team to coordinate the intervention, navigate resources, arrange referrals, and help participants access care while meeting study timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience working with under-resourced communities and rural populations with chronic health conditions.
• Experience with rural health research or clinical trials.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver telehealth/remote intervention with patients and care partners.
• Assist in resource navigation, referrals, and access to care.
• Collaborate with the research nurse and team to meet protocol timelines.
