Job summary

Greenlight America is seeking a Research Analyst to identify and analyze local energy projects, draft briefs, and support campaigns with data-driven research. The role emphasizes clear writing, curiosity, and a methodical approach to complex information.

The position is remote with occasional in-person time, reporting to the Senior Manager, Campaign Research, and starting ASAP. Entry-level experience is welcomed, with salary range of $50,000-$70,000 and comprehensive benefits.

• Demonstrated skill in identifying and using information sources in new research areas
• Demonstrated skill in summarizing and presenting data and technical information in a user-friendly manner
• Ability to rapidly develop knowledge and expertise on new topic areas
• Demonstrate curiosity and persistence in finding the answers to questions

Responsibilities

• Identify clean energy projects and ordinances requiring local approvals by reviewing and analyzing public information and government documents
• Write briefs, memos, and reports on campaign opportunities and stakeholders using established templates
• Research and analyze local and state regulatory frameworks to explain project approval processes
• Collaborate with research, campaigns, communications, and partnerships staff to develop research products that meet strategic needs
