Job summary

Greenlight America is a leading grassroots campaign organization advancing the clean energy transition at the local level. The Senior Manager, Campaign Research will supervise researchers and shape the strategic direction of the organization’s research efforts while supporting campaign design and execution.

The role emphasizes creative strategy, strong writing and communication, and the ability to manage a growing team. Remote work with occasional in-person time is expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience managing and performing research for advocacy and campaigns.
• Experience leading a core research area or defined scope of work.
• Experience supervising staff to build high-performing teams.
• Ability to identify and acquire data sources and tools in new areas.
• Creative thinker willing to take risks and iterate.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage core research programs to support campaigns at the local level.
• Lead and supervise a team of researchers to produce high-quality research outputs.
• Develop processes for professional development and quality improvement of research products.
• Evaluate research quality and speed to drive campaign outcomes.
• Plan work by identifying data sources, vendors, and staffing needs.
