Job summary

Greenlight America is a leading grassroots campaign force powering the local clean energy transition. The Senior Manager, Campaign Research will supervise a team of researchers evaluating local energy projects and provide strategic analysis to support campaign design and execution.

The role is remote with periodic in-person time and reports to the Director, Campaign Research. The successful candidate will be a strong researcher and strategist, an excellent writer and communicator, and capable of

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience managing and performing research for advocacy and campaigns.
• Demonstrated experience in leading a core research area or defined scope of work.
• Demonstrated experience supervising and developing staff to ensure high performing teams that achieve organizational goals.
• Experience identifying and acquiring data sources and tools, including in new research areas.
• Willingness to think creatively, take risks, objectively evaluate results, and iterate.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Passion for accelerating the clean energy transition.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute and manage core research programs to identify, evaluate, and support campaigns for local clean energy approvals.
• Lead a team of researchers to identify, evaluate, and support campaigns.
• Supervise and develop staff to ensure high-quality research products and benchmarking standards.
• Regularly evaluate and improve the quality and speed of research outputs and processes.
• Assess research needs and secure data sources, vendors, and staffing.
• Collaborate with research, campaigns, communications, and partnerships staff to meet strategic needs.
