Job summary

Greenlight America is seeking a Senior Manager, Campaign Research to lead a team of researchers, develop core research programs, and shape the strategic direction of Greenlight’s research work to support local campaigns and approvals. The role demands strong writing, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate data into effective advocacy.

This remote position reports to the Director, Campaign Research, offers a salary of $90,000–$120,000, and a benefits package including 100% employer-paid

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience managing and performing research for advocacy and campaigns.
• Experience leading a core research area or defined scope of work.
• Experience supervising and developing staff to ensure high performing teams.
• Experience identifying and acquiring data sources and tools.
• Willingness to think creatively, take risks, and iterate.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Passion for accelerating the clean energy transition.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute and manage core research programs to identify and support Greenlight’s campaigns at the local level.
• Lead a team of researchers to identify, evaluate, and support campaigns.
• Supervise a team to develop research products to a high standard and establish development standards.
• Regularly evaluate and improve research quality and speed to drive outcomes.
• Assess needs and develop workplans, acquiring data sources and recruiting staff as needed.
• Collaborate with research, campaigns, communications and partnerships teams.
