Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a Reporting Business Analyst to join our team remotely from Charlotte, North Carolina. You will gather and prioritize reporting needs, analyze data trends, define KPIs, and create detailed requirements documents for BI solutions.

You will partner with BI Developers and Data Engineers, developing dashboards and scorecards using Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, and Business Objects, with Alteryx handling data prep and transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IS, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years as a BA, Reporting Analyst, or Reporting BA.
• Experience gathering and documenting reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data visualization/reporting tools: Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Business Objects.
• Alteryx Designer experience for data prep and workflow automation.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in Excel (PivotTables, formulas).
• Excellent verbal and written communication; experience in Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize reporting requirements.
• Analyze datasets to identify trends and insights.
• Define metrics, KPIs, and reporting standards.
• Create BRDs, user stories, and functional specs.
• Partner with BI Developers and Tech teams to deliver reporting solutions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
• Use Alteryx for data prep, transformation, and automation.
• Validate data accuracy and perform report testing.
• Lead requirements workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Support ad hoc reporting and business analysis tasks.
• Monitor reporting performance and recommend improvements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage backlog in Jira.
