Job summary

BCforward is seeking a seasoned Analyst/Developer to join our analytics group in Charlotte, NC. The role centers on Tableau report development, SQL reporting, and ETL work with Alteryx to deliver end-to-end analytics solutions from requirements through deployment and stakeholder presentations.

The candidate will design and optimize Tableau dashboards, build ETL/data pipelines, and collaborate with business and technology teams to implement data-driven delivery strategies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Tableau report development, including dashboard design and performance optimization.
• 3+ years of Alteryx development for ETL and data preparation.
• 3+ years of SQL coding and reporting with intermediate to advanced proficiency.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex datasets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with strong presentation ability.
• Proven interpersonal skills to solicit stakeholder input.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement database-related solutions to support analytics and reporting.
• Build and enhance Tableau reporting solutions to track and assess performance.
• Create and maintain procedures and documentation for data pipelines and reports.
• Gather, document, analyze, and draw conclusions from complex data to inform business decisions.
• Partner with business and technology teams to define requirements and data sources, apply analytics, and implement delivery strategies.
• Provide guidance on process improvements and best practices with measurable benefits.
