Job summary

Zillow Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager to own Rentals collections from end to end. You will lead a diverse team onshore and offshore, set portfolio strategy, and enforce credit policy while coordinating with sales and support to protect relationships.

The role requires deep order-to-cash knowledge, AI-enabled process improvements, and experience with multiple financial systems. This Remote position offers a competitive salary and equity awards, with consideration of location.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
8+ years in B2B credit and collections or accounts receivable, incl. 3+ years leading teams.
Deep understanding of the full order-to-cash cycle, including cash application and bad debt accounting.
Hands-on experience with collections and financial systems such as Zuora, HighRadius, Salesforce, Workday, Oracle or SAP, plus advanced Excel or Google Sheets.
Experience managing outsourced or offshore vendor relationships, including SLAs and quality.
Experience setting credit or collections policy under commercial pressure.
Experience using AI tools to automate manual work.
Familiarity with rentals or real estate industry; credit scoring systems a plus.

Responsibilities

Own Rentals collections performance end to end — DSOs, aging distribution, days to pay, recovery rate, bad debt and write-offs.
Lead, coach and develop a team of specialists and offshore partners, including hiring and performance management.
Set portfolio strategy and segmentation across payers from individuals to national property management groups.
Own and enforce credit policy for the Rentals portfolio, including reviews and approvals, holds, suspensions and write-offs.
Oversee outsourced delivery — onboarding, training, SLAs, audits and work division.
Run monthly collections reviews with Rentals product teams and partner with sales and customer support on at-risk and high-value accounts.
Collaborate with Payments Program Management on upstream causes of delinquency and identify automation opportunities across Zuora, HighRadius and Salesforce.
Own month-end deliverables, including reserve and allowance analysis for the Rentals portfolio.
