Job summary

USI Insurance Services seeks a Renewal Marketing Specialist to manage end-to-end marketing for small commercial lines renewals. You will examine coverage needs, negotiate terms, prepare proposals, bind coverage, and transition accounts to the local client service team.

You will use carrier tools to quote up to $10K revenue, review submissions, and negotiate with carriers on clients’ behalf, ensuring accurate, client-ready proposals and smooth handoffs to the service teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Property & Casualty license required.
• Industry designations CIC/ARM/AAI/CPCU preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use carrier rating tools to secure competitive quotes for accounts up to $10K in revenue.
• Review and validate submissions for completeness and adherence to best practices.
• Respond to underwriters' inquiries and negotiate coverage terms with carriers on behalf of clients.
• Review carrier quotations and prepare detailed comparison summaries.
• Finalize marketing efforts and create client-ready proposal presentations.
• Bind coverage and hand off to the client service team.
• Build and maintain relationships with carrier underwriters and representatives.
• Serve as a technical resource on market trends and pricing practices.
• Participate in carrier meetings and share updates with Select operations and sales teams.
• Maintain accuracy in agency management systems and technology platforms.
• Stay current on industry developments.
