Job summary

USI Insurance Services is seeking a Renewal Marketing Specialist to manage the end-to-end marketing process for small commercial lines renewals. You will examine coverage needs, negotiate terms with carriers, prepare proposals, bind coverage, and ensure a smooth hand-off to the local client service team.

In this role, you will use carrier tools to secure quotes, review submissions, respond to underwriter inquiries, and create client-ready presentations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Commercial Property & Casualty insurance experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Property & Casualty license required.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities.
• Familiar with carrier rating tools and marketing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Use carrier rating tools to secure quotes for accounts up to $10K revenue.
• Review submissions for completeness and best-practice adherence.
• Negotiate coverage terms with carriers on clients' behalf.
• Prepare comparison summaries of carrier quotations.
• Create client-ready proposal presentations and finalize marketing.
• Bind coverage and hand off to client service team seamlessly.
• Maintain relationships with carrier underwriters and reps.
• Serve as a knowledge resource on market trends and underwriting policies.
• Participate in carrier meetings and update Select ops and sales teams.
• Maintain accuracy in agency systems and technology platforms.
• Stay current on industry developments, products, legislation, and tech.
