Job summary

USI Insurance Services is seeking a Renewal Marketing Specialist to manage the end-to-end marketing process for small commercial Select renewals. Responsibilities include examining coverage needs, negotiating carrier terms, preparing proposals, binding coverage, and ensuring a smooth transition of accounts to the local client service team.

The role is remote but sits in the West Region near a USI Office in CA or AZ, requiring collaboration with underwriters, carriers, and the client service team

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Property & Casualty license required.
• Industry designations such as CIC, ARM, AAI, CPCU preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use carrier rating tools to secure competitive quotes for accounts up to $10K in revenue.
• Review and validate submissions for completeness and adherence to best practices.
• Respond to underwriters' inquiries and negotiate coverage terms with carriers on behalf of clients.
• Review carrier quotations and prepare detailed comparison summaries.
• Finalize marketing efforts and create client-ready proposal presentations.
• Bind coverage and hand off to the client service team.
• Build and maintain relationships with carrier underwriters and representatives.
• Serve as a technical resource on market trends, pricing practices, and underwriting policies.
• Participate in carrier meetings and share updates with Select operations and sales teams.
• Maintain high accuracy in agency management systems and technology platforms.
• Stay current on industry developments, new products, legislation, coverages, and technology.
