ENTRUST Solutions Group, a Leidos Company, seeks a Renewables Design Engineer to support the issuance of IFC drawing sets and develop utility-scale solar PV and BESS designs. You will work on plan views, profiles, and electrical details from concept through construction, coordinating across multidisciplinary teams.

The role offers remote or hybrid schedules with minimal travel, and requires strong AutoCAD skills, utility design knowledge, and effective communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a focus on power systems.
• 4+ years of design/construction experience in power/generation/renewable energy projects.
• Experience with utility interconnection, NEC/UL/ISO knowledge.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and interoperable design tools.

Responsabilités

• Develop detailed designs for utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects from concept to construction.
• Create and maintain IFC drawing packages including plans, profiles, single-line diagrams, and layouts.
• Produce construction-ready drawings adhering to project specs and codes.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical and geotechnical teams for integration and constructability.
• Prepare and review wiring diagrams, conduit schedules, and equipment placements.
