Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 4+ years in SRE, DevOps, or release management on production federal systems.
• Hands‑on experience with monitoring/observability tools and incident management.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and operational automation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute all production releases, validate readiness, support cutovers, and coordinate rollbacks.
• Maintain real‑time monitoring and observability across program systems with standard tools.
• Drive reliability improvements, automate remediation, and reduce MTTR.
• Maintain alerting/runbooks; coordinate incident response with security and DevOps leadership.
• Plan and execute disaster recovery tests and validate RTO/RPO with cloud architecture.
• Manage release documentation and stakeholder communications before, during, and after releases.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for production releases and monitoring escalations.
