Job summary

Farmer Mac is seeking a driven Relationship Manager for its Infrastructure Finance team, focused on Power & Utilities. You will manage key client relationships, evaluate financing opportunities, and lead transactions from sourcing and screening to underwriting, closing, and portfolio management.

The ideal candidate has five or more years in leveraged finance, commercial banking, or related lending disciplines, with strong credit analysis, financial modeling, and collaborative, deal-leading

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in leveraged finance, commercial banking, corporate banking, infrastructure finance, project finance, credit analysis, or related lending disciplines.
• Strong credit and financial analysis capabilities.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple transactions.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship manager and day-to-day contact for assigned customers and referral partners.
• Source, evaluate, and maintain a pipeline of financing opportunities.
• Lead transactions through sourcing, underwriting, closing, and portfolio management.
• Conduct preliminary credit assessments and collaborate with underwriting and credit teams.
• Present financing opportunities and recommendations to management and credit committees.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
