Job summary
Farmer Mac is seeking a Senior Portfolio Analyst - Infrastructure to support its renewable energy portfolio management team. This role will work with the Infrastructure Finance group to underwrite, analyze, and monitor complex project finance loans across construction and operations phases.
The ideal candidate brings energy finance experience, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate across underwriting, capital markets, and operations.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of finance and accounting, especially energy finance.
- Experience with loan origination/servicing platforms is a plus.
- Self-starter with curiosity and ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Support Infrastructure Finance loan performances with key internal stakeholders.
- Prepare loan modification requests, waivers and amendments; review legal documents.
- Coordinate with Loan Operations on borrowing and disbursement requests.
- Assist in due diligence and credit memos; perform industry and market analysis.
- Develop management reports and quarterly portfolio monitoring.
- Represent Farmer Mac at industry conferences and lender visits.
