Job summary

PowerBack Rehabilitation is seeking a Full-Time Remote Bookkeeper to handle Payroll and Accounts Payable functions. You will serve as the link between field staff and corporate payroll, AP, and HR to ensure compliance with PowerBack policies and state laws.

The role emphasizes accurate timecard audits in UKG WFM, maintenance of payment tracking systems, document upkeep, and timely processing of inquiries and payments, enabling reliable payroll operations from anywhere in the United States.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma.
• Minimum of one year of experience in Payroll/AP functions.
• Must be able to deal with sensitive/confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Audits timecards in UKG WFM for accuracy and adherence to Powerback policy and guidelines.
• Maintains and creates tracking systems for various kinds of payments to employees.
• Maintains, creates, files, and archives critical payroll documents.
• Monitors reports to ensure timely and accurate retro-payments for employee pay rate changes and termination payouts.
• Verifies the accuracy of data submitted during status change transactions.
• Assists managers/field staff with payroll-related inquiries, including referring to appropriate departments as needed.
• Processes requests for payment as needed for missed hours, replacing lost checks, etc., and works with appropriate corporate personnel to ensure timely payment.
• Researches stale dated payroll checks and facilitates replacement checks as needed.
• Provides excellent customer service to all Powerback personnel.
• Performs other related duties as required.
